Getting started
Create an account with your email or continue with Google. New accounts must verify their email address before profile building and searches unlock. Use the link in the verification email, or request a fresh one from the banner at the top of the app.
Every new verified account receives 20 free credits. A full search run costs 10 credits, so your first two searches are on us.
Once verified, the app guides you through three panels: Profile → Preferences → Matches. You can jump back to any completed step via the stepper at the top of the workspace.
The three-step workflow
Step 1: Professional profile
Upload a CV, a resume, or both, optionally add your personal website and GitHub URLs, or describe your experience manually. The engine parses your documents, researches the public pages, and synthesizes a structured profile: headline, summary, skills, experience, seniority, and languages.
Before any text is sent to an AI model, personally identifiable information is masked so the model never sees your name, email, phone number, or address. Raw files are processed in a temporary workspace and deleted afterwards.
Step 2: Preferences
Review the AI-prepared target job description and edit it freely, as this text steers discovery and ranking. Then set:
- Target roles: comma-separated role titles used to build search queries.
- Locations: cities or regions, comma-separated.
- Primary country: selects the country-specific source plan; leave blank for worldwide remote discovery.
- Work mode: remote, on-site, or both.
- Employment type: full-time, part-time, Minijob, or all.
Step 3: Matches
Hit Save preferences & find jobs. The search runs live: you'll see the current phase, a progress percentage, and a research log of the sources being swept. Results appear as ranked cards with a match score, the reasoning behind it, tags, and a direct link to the original listing.
Listings with unknown details (e.g. an unstated work mode) stay eligible instead of being silently filtered out, so you decide rather than a missing field.
Files & profile links
| Input | Formats | Limits |
|---|---|---|
| CV / resume | PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown | 6 MB per file · 10 MB combined |
| Personal website | Any public HTTPS page | Must be publicly reachable |
| GitHub | Profile or repository URL | Public pages only |
| Manual details | Free text in the profile form | Up to 6,000 characters |
You need at least one input: a document, a profile URL, or text in the manual details field. Raw uploads are never retained: parsing happens in a temporary directory that is wiped when the step finishes. Only the derived, structured profile is stored with your account.
Country source plans
Choosing a primary country activates a ten-destination search plan: a curated mix of authorized feeds, public career boards, and partner sources tuned for that market. The preferences panel shows the live plan with each destination's availability and access policy before you spend a credit.
- Germany first: the deepest coverage, including Minijob and part-time formats.
- Worldwide / unspecified: focuses on remote-friendly discovery across international boards.
Every destination is public or authorized; the service never circumvents access controls or login walls.
Search history
Your newest 25 searches are archived under the History button in the header. Reopen any past result set to review the ranked matches again, or delete entries you no longer need. Failed searches are marked so you can tell at a glance what to rerun.
Credits & billing
Arbeit.fit runs on a simple credit model with no subscription and no per-seat pricing:
- 20 credits are granted to every newly verified account.
- 1 search = 10 credits, regardless of how many matches are returned.
- Top-ups are purchased with Buy credits in the header; payments are processed by Stripe. Card details never touch our servers.
Your balance is shown in the header badge. Credits are tied to your account and do not expire.
Frequently asked questions
Does the AI see my real name and contact details?
No. PII is masked locally before any text is sent to a model. The model works on a de-identified version of your evidence; your identity stays in your account record only.
Are my CV files stored on your servers?
No. Uploads are parsed in a temporary workspace and deleted when processing finishes. We retain the derived profile and search records that support your workflow, but never the raw files.
Can a match ever be a hallucinated job?
No. Every result must carry the exact public URL it was discovered on. Listings whose source link can't be verified are dropped before ranking.
Why did my search return few results?
Usually the target description or role titles are too narrow for the chosen country plan. Broaden your target roles, try a nearby region, or leave the country blank for worldwide remote discovery, then run again.
What happens if a search fails?
Failed runs are marked in your history with the reason. You can rerun them after adjusting preferences; support is happy to look into repeated failures.
How do I delete my data?
You can remove individual history entries at any time. For full account and profile deletion, contact us as described in the privacy policy and we will process GDPR requests promptly.
Accessibility access program
Job hunting should not cost more for people who already face extra barriers. Verified users with a disability receive free daily credits for life: 20 credits every day, enough for two full searches.
How to apply
- Email info@mavenwebcraft.com from the address linked to your account.
- Attach a government-verified proof of disability. Any official document showing your name is accepted.
- A human reviews the request. The proof is deleted after the decision and is never stored.
- Once approved, your account receives 20 credits every day for as long as the account exists.
Only a verification flag and two dates remain on your account. The document itself is removed after review, in line with the raw-files-not-retained policy.
Ready when you are.
20 free credits waiting on your first verified account.
