Search engines don't understand your CV
Generic job boards optimise for volume. They show you everything that contains your keywords, whether the role fits your seniority, your location preference, or your actual career direction, or not. The result is hundreds of almost-right listings and no way to tell which ones deserve an afternoon of tailoring.
The other failure mode is worse: AI assistants that confidently summarise the job market and invent vacancies that never existed. A match you can't open is worse than no match at all.
Every match shows its receipts
Arbeit.fit is built around one non-negotiable rule: a job only exists if we can hand you the exact public URL where we found it. Every result in your ranked list links back to the original listing on the employer's career page, a public job board, or an authorized feed. No paraphrased ghosts, no model-invented URLs.
If the pipeline can't verify a source link, the listing is dropped, because silently inflated result counts are a bug, not a feature.
Behind that rule sits a three-stage pipeline that turns your raw professional evidence into a structured, privacy-masked profile, then runs an adaptive search across country-specific source plans.
Evidence in
Upload a CV or resume, point us at public profiles such as GitHub or a personal site, or describe your experience directly in the form. Documents are parsed in a temporary workspace and the raw files are deleted after processing. Only the derived profile stays.
Profile, masked
Before anything reaches an AI model, personally identifiable information (names, emails, phone numbers, addresses) is masked locally. The model sees your skills and experience, not your identity.
Adaptive discovery
A search planner builds queries from your target roles and preferred country, sweeps public vacancies, and learns which sources and phrasings actually yield matches for profiles like yours.
Ranked, with reasons
Each surviving vacancy is scored against your profile and returned with a match score, the reasoning behind it, and the direct link to apply. Unknown details keep a listing eligible instead of silently filtering it out.
Private by architecture, not by promise
We don't ask you to trust our intentions; we constrain our own system. The privacy guarantees are structural:
- PII masking before AI. Contact details and identifiers are stripped locally before any text is sent to a model provider.
- Raw files are not retained. Your CV lives in a temporary processing directory and is deleted when parsing finishes.
- Managed AI, no keys required. You never need to paste provider API keys into the app, as inference runs through our managed configuration.
- Encrypted state. Session and search state are stored encrypted and keyed to your account, never shared between users.
The full picture, including retention windows and your GDPR rights, is in the privacy policy.
Built for deliberate career moves
Arbeit.fit is not a firehose. It's for people making a considered next step, whether relocating to Germany, returning after a break, or pivoting industries, who want a short, defensible shortlist rather than an endless feed. The country-specific source plans are tuned for the German market first (including Minijob and part-time formats), with broader coverage rolling out.
